Educated Mommy is offering some new classes in the coming months! The new classes include making your own baby food, belly casting, young or single moms support group, and healing from birth trauma, grief, or disappointment support group. Mission Statement of Educated Mommy:
Nurturing families through breastfeeding support and education.
Our purpose is to:
- Provide evidence-based information by qualified professionals.
- Focus on community and family needs.
- Maintain an independent and welcoming environment.
Our dream for “Educated Mommy” is to have an independent location where families can come to get the research based information they need about anything pregnancy and parenting related. In order to accomplish this goal, we are dedicated to having qualified staff running Educated Mommy. Our goal is to have a lactation consultant, a childbirth educator, and an RN on staff to ensure families are confident that the information they receive is trustworthy.
The services at Educated Mommy will be wide ranging and constantly evolving to meet the needs of those we serve. From private lactation consultations to free cloth diaper workshops, from belly casting sessions to small support groups for Moms, from car seat safety classes to Mommy & Me Yoga classes we want to make this the place where ALL families can meet their family’s needs. All of our classes are offered for free unless noted otherwise.
